The Cloet Family

Nearly half of Witness to the Revolution takes place in the home of the Cloet family. The image above shows the gateway to Washington’s Headquarters at the Hasbrouck family home in Newburgh, New York (April 1782 - August 1783). However, it was also the inspiration for the ominous iron gate at the back of the Cloet’s home in books one and two of The Enlightened series.
